 Maya joined our family in November 2006 as an eight week old puppy. Today she is just over three years old and has developed into quite the playfull dog. Maya lives in Prescott, Arizona.
She is a long hair German Shepherd Dog of the highest caliber anyone would find. Maya loves her human friends, friends of Mom Marsha and Lindy, and strangers that Mom tells her are “okay”. She is apprehensive of other dogs and often barks at them from across the street. She likes the delivery people who come to her door and ring the doorbell but she particularly likes the trades people who come to fix things - they all seem to like big dogs around here. She loves to be touched and petted and will often siddle up to you to just have you stroke her fur. Maya is extremely soft and likes to be groomed every Sunday.
